Meet Your Guide

To survive an abusive marriage, I avoided my partner and outside people I felt would not understand my home life. So I learned to live with what seemed like endless loneliness. I was always trying harder to make things better and to meet the next demand someone would present me.


But I could not find a way to get ahead. In a rare moment of peace (or exhaustion, where no one was demanding my attention), I looked inside myself, and I was empty. There was no juice left to fight anymore. I was at a crossroads, I had to make a choice to truly live...or I would die. There was no way around it. After retiring from a decorated 20 year military career, my 'happily ever after' never came.

So, I made some choices, left that home situation and embarked on an odyssey of travels that eventually brought me home to myself. I went on healing retreats that helped my mind relax, attending a life-changing music cruise that helped me find my unique rhythm, and painted extensively in Europe, where I felt safe again to express myself.


Through it all, I honed my intuitive ability to help courageous creatives and empaths learn the essentials to having a happy life: what being treated well feels like, how to enjoy self-care and build life-giving support networks. I learned how to set effective boundaries that reserve my energy for who and what matter most to me.


On the other side of all that chaos, I realized I had learned some really important lessons about how to build a happy life.


There were so many times where I wished I had a roadmap to finding a more sane life...and nothing like it was out there.


More than anything, I wanted to start giving back to people just like me. I wanted to share these tools and share my lessons learned with military vets, creatives, and empaths who often feel hopeless and alone, yet who know that their beautiful and very valuable place in the world exists...if only they can understand how to embrace it and live it to the fullest.
